Afghan players to not play T10 League

Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB) restricted their players to play T10 League as the event has contradicting dates with their domestic tournament.

The Chief Operating Officer of ACB, Asghar Afghan stated that they will not allow their players to play the ten-over league in the UAE as they want their star cricketers to feature the local tournament.

Moreover, Afghanistan’s coach Phil Simmons said that he wants his players to prepare for the upcoming World Cup 2019, instead of featuring the T10 League.

Afghanistan have got some of the most entertaining players in the likes of Rashid Khan, Mujeeb Ur Rehman, Mohammad Nabi and Mohammad Shehzad.
