The interim government could not decide anything on Rs. 120 million-grant for Pakistan’s participation in Asian Games, which are to take place from August 18 in Indonesia.
Ministry of Inter Provincial Coordination have already sent the summary to the government for approval of the grant.
A 300-athlete contingent has to participate in the Asian Games.
POA has to pay $2,70,000 to the organizing committee for players’ accommodation. If they fail to pay off the expenses before the deadline, Pakistan’s participation in the event can be in danger.
