
ISLAMABAD: Retired Captain Safdar is transferred to Adiala jail on Monday (today), he was presented in the accountability court of Islamabad where he was pronounced one year imprisonment and held responsible in the Avenfield reference.
According to details, National Accountability Bureau (NAB) team comprising of three associates on Sunday has arrested Captain (retd) Muhammad Safdar, the son-in-law of Ex prime minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif. Safdar has been given one year imprisonment by judge Muhammad Bashir of Accountability Court.
Just after Safder’s arrest, he was shifted to Rawalpindi NAB headquarters, and was completely checked by doctors in order to assert him bodily fit. As per law, he is then sent before the accountability court.
Furthermore, the roads towards accountability court were completely closed, hefty group of police force and rangers were positioned in the region of judicial complex.
